• This cost calculator is provided for estimation purposes only and does not constitute a binding quotation. The figures generated by this calculator are based on the information provided, BDAC's Schedule of Fees and certain assumptions, hence, should not be considered as precise or guaranteed. Actual costs may vary depending on various factors not accounted for in this calculator.
• This calculator employs Brunei Dollars (BND) as the currency unit and calculates based on a standard assumption that one day equates to eight hours, subject to additional costs outside of BDAC's working hours (7:45 AM - 4:30 PM).
• Filing fees for mediation or registration fees for arbitration must be deposited within three days from the request date.
• If clients have previously utilized BDAC's Case Evaluation process before mediation, no filing fee will be charged for SCCM. Additionally, a fee reduction of $30.00 will apply to the filing fees of CM and FM in such cases.
• Med-Arbs Fee: Where the parties have referred their dispute to mediation under BDAC’s Mediation Procedure and they have failed to reach a settlement and thereafter proceed to arbitration, then one-half of the administrative costs paid to BDAC for the mediation shall be credited towards the administrative costs of the arbitration.
• The integrated currency converter utilises the mean currency exchange rates calculated over the period extending from April 2024 to May 2024 (1 month). This methodology is implemented exclusively to facilitate the fee calculator feature, which is designed to provide estimations as indicated in the first point of the disclaimer above.
